Live-View™ software is used to actively communicate with the monitor and see real time data. Some of the abilities include capturing and displaying of waveforms, as well as phasor diagrams to ensure that the power monitor is connected properly.

Setup is also included in this package giving the ability to configure log rate and waveform capture parameters. Site management gives the ability to add and delete sites when there are multiple data sets.

Finally, download data sets from the power monitor or directly into U-View™ with the Live-View™ program.

Features

Global options and features of Live-View:

  • Export the graphs to a .png file using the camera icon to either Save to Clipboard or Save to File
  • Switch between global Delta/Wye calculations with one click
  • Multi Window mode can show one two or three graphs
  • Change the y-axis values and save the settings in a list to recall later
  • Annotations and Tools tips to mark important points
  • Vertical and horizontal rulers
  • One click global zoom settings for time
Field Notes

Field Notes can be stored before, during, or after a test. These can be a script to work from or a marker for when tests are completed.

Field Notes can be added in Live-View or U-View. They can also be linked to a specific event (Manual Triggers or SnapShot Captures), making data easy to identify during report stage.

Setup

Cx Monitor setup is accomplished using the Live-View interface. It is broken down into the following sections.

  • Site Management: Review used space and create new sites for testing multiple equipment
  • Logs: Set intervals for each type of log
  • Triggers: Sag/Surge and transient captures
  • System: PLL, voltage multipliers, time and current settings
  • Peripherals: External wireless peripherals setup items
  • Network: DHCP, Static NTP & wireless setup
  • Alarms: Notification setup for email alarms
Meter & Phasor

Meter screen shows calculated values in real time, these include:

  • RMS Voltage (10 Channels)
  • RMS Current (5 Channels)
  • AC Frequency (3 Channels)
  • Power (KVA, KW, KVAR, PF, DPF)
  • Phase Angle
  • Wireless peripherals readings (Up to 100)

Phasor screen gives the phase angle and RMS of the voltage and current readings to ensure proper hookup.

If the CTs are not facing the load, then they can be inverted on this screen.

Snapshot

Snapshots give the oscilloscope view of incoming waveforms.

Features include:

  • Field Note input
  • Snapshot capture and store
  • Manual trigger with counter
  • Power calculations
  • Symmetrical components
  • Harmonics to the 63rd
